The National Center for Palms & Dates was established by the Royal Decree No. 42649 dated 29/09/1432 H. (29/08/2011 G.) in collaboration with the Saudi Chambers Council and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. The Center's vision is supporting the status of Saudi dates by high quality, making dates an attractive food stuff for local consumers, a main element of the food security and the first choice for international Consumers of dates in competitive price. Its mission is to develop dates sector by concentration on production efficiency (cost reduction), product quality, effective marketing programs inside and outside the country, encouraging producers to invent, promotion of joint work with all parties and defending dates sector interests.
