Eng. Mansour bin Hilal Al Mushaiti
Eng. Mansour Bin Hilal Al Mushaiti obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering from King Saud University in 1997 and a master's degree in the same field from King Saud University in 2006.
Currently, he serves on the boards of the Human Resources Fund, the General Authority for Statistics, the General Investment Authority, PMI, the Saudi Council for Engineers, CFA, and CMI. In addition, he served as a board member of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization and the Electricity & Cogeneration Regulatory Authority, and he held a two-year appointment as Team Leader for Quality and Continuous Improvement.
In addition, he served on the Supervisory Committee of the King Abdullah Initiative for Solar Water Desalination as well as the Saudi National Energy Efficiency and Rationalization Program.
His other notable accomplishments include:
April 23, 2017: Appointed Vice Minister of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
April 2016 – April 2017: Named Deputy Minister for Planning and Development, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
December 2015 - April 2017: Served as Deputy Minister for Planning and Development, the Ministry of Water and Electricity.
2005 – 2015: Appointed Director-General of Economic Affairs, the Electricity & Cogeneration Regulatory Authority.
1997 – 2005: Assigned to the Department of Project Implementation, the Saudi Electricity Company.
Some of his greatest achievements include developing the ministry's vision, objectives, and directions, and presenting them to the Council on Economic and Development Affairs. In 2016, he proposed a program that aimed to determine the value of the support provided to social security beneficiaries by calculating the efficient consumption of water. In addition, the program aimed to help with the payment of water bills and develop a strategy for electricity in the Kingdom in collaboration with the World Bank.
Moreover, he participated in several initiatives, programs, and electronic services, including DMS, Electricity and Water Usage Calculator, and consumption ranges used to determine consumption efficiency. He was also appointed Manager of a major transport station project which was completed in record time, not exceeding a 15-month period.
