The Saudi Water Forum 2024, set to take place from April 29 to May 1 in Riyadh, is being organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture under the theme that Water Sustainability Is Our Responsibility.

This third session of the forum will gather local and international experts and specialists to explore a range of critical water-related issues, including innovation in desalination, efficient utilization of dam water, and the integration of sectors for the sustainable, efficient, and reliable delivery of water services, among others.

The event will also include 9 workshops that will focus on various topics such as groundwater modeling, water conservation strategies, future investment opportunities within the national water company, ways to improve irrigation efficiency for agricultural sustainability, the significance of innovation, challenges of investing in emerging technologies, ensuring water safety, reducing the costs of desalination and treatment projects, and the contribution of development organizations towards achieving water sustainability.

Additionally, the forum will host 9 discussion panels aimed at enhancing the private sector's involvement in the water, sustainability in the desalination industry, unveiling projects and investment opportunities, reducing production and treatment costs as the basis for sector sustainability, and the future of partnerships between research and innovation centers and executive entities, alongside promoting the localization of the water industry.
