His Excellency Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman Alfadley has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Zambia.
The agreement focuses on advancing collaboration in agricultural technology, genetic resources, biological control of plant pests and diseases, as well as research, policies, and regulations.
This occurred during the Saudi-Arab-African Economic Conference hosted by the Kingdom in Riyadh. The memorandum's objectives include strengthening cooperation through the exchange of information, and expertise and organizing conferences and workshops.
This agreement is part of efforts to reinforce friendly ties and collaborative initiatives in the agricultural sector, aligned with a broader cooperation agreement signed in 2010 between Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Zambia
