A delegation from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture participated in the meeting of the tenth session of the Governing Body of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture. The session was held from 20-24 November 2023, at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) in Rome, Italy.
The session reviewed many topics, including capacity development strategies, contributing to the implementation of the global biodiversity framework for sustainable food systems, applying and improving the multilateral system of access and benefit-sharing, genetic sequence data (GSD), and others.
