As part of its commitment to advancing innovation and cutting-edge technologies in support of sustainable agriculture, the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture took part in the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit, held in London on September 26-27.
The Ministry's involvement in the Summit is aimed at staying abreast of the latest developments in agricultural technology and the agri-food sector. Additionally, the participation aims to explore partnerships and investments that foster the exchange of knowledge and experiences across various sectors.
Sideline of Summit, the Saudi Deputy Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture for Research and Innovation, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Malik met with the Minister of State (Minister for Biosecurity, Marine and Rural Affairs). They explored opportunities for cooperation in the sector of agricultural technology and food production. During the meeting, they also discussed establishing a framework for a collaborative plan to promote the use of modern agricultural and food technologies.
More than 900 international agri-food professionals participated in panel discussions and networking to accelerate the transition to sustainable and resilient agri-food systems. The World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit served as a platform for leaders in the agri-food industry to engage in discussions on crucial topics.
