Saudi Arabia concluded its participation in the Doha Horticultural Expo 2023 with 5 awards, and world records, and draws 1.8 million visitors to its expansive pavilion spanning 5000 square meters. Featuring a lush green area of 4000 square meters, the pavilion's design draws inspiration from Mount Tuwaiq.

The Head Director of Saudi Arabia's participation, Mr. Saleh Bindakhil, emphasized that the pavilion provided a groundbreaking digital experience centered on agricultural and environmental sustainability projects. He noted that it showcased over 80 successful Saudi projects and initiatives in line with the exhibition's objectives, highlighting best practices and innovations in horticulture and environmental sustainability. The pavilion aimed to inspire the global community to adopt and implement innovative and sustainable solutions to combat desertification.

Bindakhil added that the pavilion's unique experience played a significant role in securing 5 awards and world records. The Saudi pavilion has set a groundbreaking achievement by breaking the Guinness World Record for the Largest Display of Exterior LED Screens, with an impressive array of 435 external LED columns. Additionally, the pavilion received prestigious accolades, including a Gold Muse award for the Conceptual Design Exhibition & Events category and a Gold French Design Award for the Interior Design Pavilion & Architecture category. It clinched the Winner of the LIV Award - Category Architectural Design Landscape Design, along with a Silver Award from the Bureau International des Expositions in the Self-Built Pavilions category at Expo 2023 Doha.

The pavilion welcomed visitors from across the globe, offering interactions in seven languages, including Arabic, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, and Persian. The pavilion featured numerous innovative sections aimed at showcasing the diversity and richness of the Kingdom, both in the present and the future. Moreover, it showed the pivotal role of agriculture, ambitious vision initiatives, major sustainable projects aimed at achieving local and international environmental goals, as well as contributions to developing solutions to global environmental challenges.

Saudi participation in the Doha 2023 Horticultural Expo, which commenced in October was centered around introducing the international community to a variety of innovative solutions aimed at combating desertification and addressing environmental challenges. This effort revolved around four key pillars modern agriculture, technology and innovation, environmental awareness, and sustainability.
