During his African tour following the Saudi-African Summit recently held in Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Eng. Abdulrahman Alfadley, the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, visited the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire. This visit underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to bolster bilateral relations, advancing strategic partnerships, and enhancing cooperation with African countries.
In a series of high-level meetings, His Excellency Alfadley engaged in talks with the Ivorian Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Ivorians Abroad. They explored how to further strengthen bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Côte d'Ivoire. Minister Alfadley also met with the Ivorian Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, focusing on enhancing joint efforts in agricultural investment, livestock, and food security, reflecting both countries' desires to achieve shared goals.
Additionally, Minister Alfadley, along with his delegation, held discussions with prominent representatives from the private sector in Côte d'Ivoire. These meetings were pivotal in acquainting the Saudi officials with leading Ivorian companies, their primary products, and the promising opportunities in agricultural investment that could serve the interests of both nations.
